Az objektek Persephone archetipikus képét kapcsolják össze a biliárd játék motivumával. A tükörrel borított biriáldasztakák felületein Persephone jelképei vannak begravírozva, ahhoz kapcsolódó rövid mondatokkal.

Persephone alakja életre kelti azt a problémakört a játszmákban, amikor a nő tehetetlen és a körülmények áldozata, aki ki hol anyja, hol férje fennhatósága alatt áll, nekik a tulajdonuk. A biliárd játék részei arra reflektálnak, hogy az asztal a női test, amely felett a játszma folyik, a biliárdgolyók maguk a gránátalmák, ezáltal a kiszolgáltatottság, amelyek a kiszolgáltatottságot és a ki- használtság különböző formáit testesíti meg női mivoltábaan, aki felett a játékosok hatalmat kívánnak gyakorolni, bitokolni akarják őt.

The objects connect the archetypal image of Persephone with the motif of the game of billiards. On the surfaces of the mirror-covered billiard tables, there are engravings of Persephone’s symbols, accompanied by short sentences related to them.

Persephone’s figure brings to life the problematic aspect in the games when a woman is powerless and a victim of circumstances, being under the authority of either her mother or her husband, belonging to them. The pieces of the billiard game reflect that the table represents the female body, on which the game is played, and the billiard balls themselves are the pomegranates, embodying var- ious forms of vulnerability and exploitation inherent in femininity, over which the players seek to exert power and control.

In our own lives, who is the table and who are the players?
